A reputable US law firm is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Associate (2-4 PQE) to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team in London. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile, multi-jurisdictional litigation for major global clients across sectors such as technology, life sciences, and financial markets.

The Dispute Resolution team is known for its strategic approach to litigation, representing major multinational clients in their most significant disputes. The practice covers a broad range of contentious matters, including contractual disputes, business torts, regulatory litigation, and competition claims.

The Role

As a Commercial Litigation Associate, you will be involved in high-stakes disputes, working with a team of exceptional litigators on complex and cutting-edge cases. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Advising clients on high-value, multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes.
  • Representing clients in competition litigation, including class actions.
  • Working closely with teams across the firm’s global offices on cross-border matters.
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports.
  • Managing case strategy, discovery processes, and trial preparation.
  • Advising clients on regulatory and commercial risk management.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-4 years‘ PQE from a top-tier UK or international law firm.
  • Strong experience in commercial litigation, with exposure to contractual disputes, competition claims, and/or regulatory litigation.
  • A strong academic background.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a commercial mindset.
