The Role
As a Corporate M&A Associate, you will:
- Advise on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, representing private companies, corporate acquirers, and financial investors.
- Take the lead on significant transactions, managing key workstreams such as due diligence, disclosure, and ancillary documentation.
- Work on sell-side M&A transactions in high-growth industries, particularly technology and life sciences.
- Support clients on a range of corporate transactions, including private equity investments and public takeovers.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled team of lawyers on transformative deals across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
The Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2-4 years of post-qualification experience as an English-qualified solicitor, with a strong focus on M&A and private equity transactions.
- Experience in cross-border and domestic transactions, particularly in technology or life sciences sectors.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent technical skills.
- A proven ability to manage transactional workstreams, including due diligence and disclosure.
- Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment.
