About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Solicitor (NQ – 3 years‘ PQE) to join their Real Estate Finance team in Birmingham. Led by a highly respected Partner who also heads up the firm’s National Real Estate Practice, the team specialises in advising banks, lenders, funds, and borrowers on the real estate aspects of finance transactions. This includes high-profile projects such as portfolio investment transactions and residential developments for regional housebuilders.

About the Team
The Real Estate team has a stellar reputation for its technical and commercial expertise, offering services across a wide range of disciplines, including:
- Commercial Development and Investment

Key Responsibilities
This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in the following areas of Real Estate law:
Real Estate Finance:
- Advising on the acquisition, financing, management, and sale of property assets.
- Working on projects ranging from large portfolios to individual properties.
- Preparing title reports, analysing due diligence information, and offering pragmatic, commercially focused advice.
Investment Sales and Acquisitions:
- Acting on transactions for property investment funds and institutional or family office landlords.
- Providing support in acquiring, financing, managing, and disposing of property assets.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified solicitor with NQ – 3 years‘ PQE and experience in Real Estate law.
- Skilled in handling real estate aspects of finance transactions and investment acquisitions.
- Commercially minded, with strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
- A team player who enjoys mentoring colleagues and contributing to a collaborative working environment.
- Ambitious, confident, and committed to building client relationships.
- Proficient in managing competing demands and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
