Senior Associate – Funds

We are working on an exciting opportunity with a top-tier law firm seeking a Senior Associate level lawyer to join their Financial Services & Funds team in Melbourne. This role offers exposure to both regulatory compliance and transactional matters in the funds and superannuation sector.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with three highly regarded partners on investment structures, funds-of-one, pooled investments, and capital partnerships. With a diverse client base, including some of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, you’ll have the opportunity to advise on private capital asset classes, infrastructure investments, and regulatory compliance challenges.

This team welcomes corporate lawyers interested in pivoting toward funds and investment law, making it an ideal opportunity to transition into a growing field.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

– Experience in financial services, superannuation, or funds law, either in private practice or in-house.

– A strong interest in investment structures and private market transactions.

– Exceptional analytical and drafting skills.

– Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships and foster teamwork.

– A desire to build expertise in investment law while continuing to develop across financial services.
