Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial

Leading professional services organisation seeks Senior Legal Counsel to join their highly skilled in-house legal team in London.

An opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, in a varied role supporting all levels of the business across service lines and the full range of internal business functions. It will be to engage in contracting on both the client and supplier side, in addition to substantive legal advisory work with the opportunity to be the legal lead on firm-wide projects.

Offering interesting and broad spread of project work (software development, systems integration, business transformation) and client contracts (engagement agreements, MSAs, GFAs), including tech, software, licensing, outsourcing, government and public sector agreements, tenders, RFP responses, and supplier agreements.

You will have over 10 years‘ PQE and proven experience as a commercial lawyer from a top tier City law firm and/or in-house. In addition, you will have demonstrable experience of negotiating, drafting and advising across a range of commercial contracts, preferably within a professional Servies environment or similar.

This will suit a self-starter with gravitas, business acumen and who can improve processes across the business. A calm and proactive attitude is important in this collaborative team, so the ideal candidate will be versatile, efficient, credible, persuasive, with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
