The Opportunity

Our client, headquartered in Europe, boasts a range of accommodation options for their guests all over the world. This is a great opportunity for a 4-8 year PAE lawyer to join the Australian legal team to support the Pacific region, providing legal advice to all areas of the business, focusing predominately on strata and property matters.

This role will be based in their Gold Coast office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising the business and providing legal support more specifically to the leasing, strata, realty, asset management and compliance teams.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating amendments to management rights agreements, leases, managed investment scheme documentation, licences and contracts.
  • Preparation of standard form agreements, policies, and precedents for all areas of the business.
  • Educating the business on legal compliance requirements.
  • Creating efficient processes, and streamlining all existing processes.

Ideal Candidate

  • Admitted as a Solicitor in Australia or New Zealand
  • 4-8 years PAE with property and/ or strata experience from time spent in private practice or in-house.
  • Experience in management of letting rights and funds management would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
