Legal Practice Support Specialist – US Law Firm – London.

Taylor Root have partnered with a leading US law firm who are looking to add headcount into Global Corporate Finance and Securities team on a permanent basis.

The Firm

Our client is considered to be one of the “US heavyweights” law firms operating in London and it has work apart the legal scene hear for well over 40 year. The busy city firm boasts impressive growth plans and revenue and provides market leading advice across a full spectrum of transactions

The Role

The role will be responsible for proactively collecting and validating the information required for an efficient revenue management cycle, analyzing efficiency metrics on various client matters and collaborating in the revenue management aspects of the pitching process. It will essentially provide the link between the legal teams and billing process.

· Managing matter costs and overseeing budgeting processes.

· Maintaining consistent and effective communication with clients.

· Keeping WIP (Work in Progress) reports accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.

· Monitoring, updating, and tracking the progress of new matters, deals, and transactions.

· Delivering essential paralegal support to fee-earners.

The Ideal Candidate

Candidate who are familiar with the billing process and WIP within law firms and have the ability to carry out financial analysis will be favoured for this role. European languages are highly desirable, Greek or Italian being the preference.
