Market leading Litigation practice is seeking Paralegals who are eager to contribute to a fast-paced international law firm environment. You will be working with the team on challenging, complex and exciting legal projects, including arbitration and litigation with an emphasis on cross-border transactions.

Job Description

  • You will provide all rounded legal support to the litigation team in dispute resolutions matters, assisting lawyers in all stages of litigation and arbitration transactions.
  • You will be responsible for conducting legal research, preparing, and drafting court documents, scheduling, maintaining case files, proof-reading and translation, due diligence, and management of relevant documents.
  • You will liaise with third parties & clients where necessary and assist in ad-hoc legal projects and requests, as needed.

Experience and Skills

  • Degree in Law with 2+ years of experience gained within a reputable regional or international law firm.
  • Transactional experience in commercial disputes, litigation, arbitration matters would be desired. Whilst commercial litigation experience is preferred, general litigation experience will also be considered, as long as you have solid knowledge about the Hong Kong court system.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) would be ESSENTIAL.
  • Team player with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details.
