About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to take a hands-on approach shaping and guiding their privacy policy, while directly reporting and collaborating with the Data Protection Officer.

• Support the organization in maintaining compliance with privacy laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Interpret privacy legislation, provide clear and concise responses to inquiries, and manage the organization’s privacy policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with procedures.
• Plan, execute, and monitor the annual privacy program.
• Handle data breaches and privacy requests, collaborating with case handlers to provide guidance and resolution.
• Manage the organization’s data processing register, carry out Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), draft privacy statements, and ensure proper follow-up on identified issues.
• Review various agreements, including data processing contracts, to ensure privacy compliance.
• Act as a primary contact for privacy-related inquiries and complaints, leading internal privacy awareness campaigns and activities.
• Cultivate and enhance a network of Privacy Process Owners and Privacy Champions within the organization, working closely with the Data Protection Officer.

About You:

• Fluency in both spoken and written Dutch is essential for this role.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal privacy matters.
• CIPP/E and CIPP/M certifications or a willingness to obtain them is a plus.
