The Opportunity

Our client is recruiting for a property lawyer to join a large legal team of long-standing counsel with a well-regarded industry supplier.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working across all property transactional and property leasing matters.
  • Preparing, reviewing, negotiating, amending and renewing leases.
  • Providing commercial and legal advice in relation to all aspects of property including due diligence and contract negotiations.
  • Assisting on property development matters, including liaising with project managers, consultants and authorities.
  • Disposals and acquisitions of commercial/industrial properties Australia wide.
  • Assisting with day-to-day property enquiries regarding easements, flood risk, Council zoning.

Ideal Candidate

  • Admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Must have 2-6 years of Australian property experience.
  • Gained solid transactional and leasing experience in private practice and/or inhouse.
  • Excellent drafting and writing skills.
  • Strong team player who can collaborate well with others.
  • Commercially minded and adaptable.
