Property Lawyer
The Opportunity
Our client is recruiting for a property lawyer to join a large legal team of long-standing counsel with a well-regarded industry supplier.
Key Responsibilities
- Working across all property transactional and property leasing matters.
- Preparing, reviewing, negotiating, amending and renewing leases.
- Providing commercial and legal advice in relation to all aspects of property including due diligence and contract negotiations.
- Assisting on property development matters, including liaising with project managers, consultants and authorities.
- Disposals and acquisitions of commercial/industrial properties Australia wide.
- Assisting with day-to-day property enquiries regarding easements, flood risk, Council zoning.
Ideal Candidate
- Admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand.
- Must have 2-6 years of Australian property experience.
- Gained solid transactional and leasing experience in private practice and/or inhouse.
- Excellent drafting and writing skills.
- Strong team player who can collaborate well with others.
- Commercially minded and adaptable.
