A fast-growing medical products organisation is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their organisation. The organisation is a leader in providing specialist products and technologies to healthcare markets globally.

About the role:

As Legal Counsel you will be responsible for providing legal advice, guidance, direction and partnership across a wide variety of legal matters. Reporting into the VP, Deputy General Counsel; this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role.

Key responsibilities will include providing legal advice to stakeholders across the business on a variety of commercial matters, including coordinating closely with other functional business areas. In addition to acting as legal lead drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts to support the business across the UK and Europe including indirect and direct procurement agreements, distribution agreements and wholesale agreements.

About you:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 PQE, having trained either in a top UK law firm or in-house. Ideally you have experience of working in a commercial in-house environment. Previous experience gained in the medical devices industry and multi-jurisdictional experience would be highly advantageous. This role would suit someone who is commercially astute and who thrives in a complex and high performing environment.
