The Client:

A fast growing insurance firm are looking for a 2+ PQE commercial lawyer to join their legal team. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business.

You will only be required max 1 day a week in the office, they can only also offer a near remote role if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including partnership agreements, supplier agreements. vendor contracts, and customer terms and conditions.
  • Provide assistance with maintaining the legal precedent bank; and assist with providing training to the business on new and ongoing legal and compliance issues
  • Provide support to the business on the onboarding of new clients
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will be a 2+ PQE Commercial lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm, or financial services firm.
  • Experience in the insurance will be plus but not a strict requirement
  • Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
