Asset Management (Funds) Paralegal – Elite US law firm – London

Taylor Root have partnered with a Elite US law firm in their search for an experienced Funds Paralegal to join the London office. This role is being offered on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Firm

Our client has been at the forefront of transactional law since their founding and is widely acknowledged as the industry leader in the US and London. The London office provides advice to the worlds leading corporations, investment funds and financial institutions.

The Team

The firm’s asset management practice makes up a large percentage of their London offices revenue and works with FS institutions and investment funds to advise on hedge funds, private equity/buyout funds, credit funds and real estate funds. You will often find this firm representing the big names in the market for investment banks and asset managers in London.

The Role

As a Paralegal in the Asset Management team, you will gain exposure to all aspects of fund management. This includes advising fund sponsors, investment advisors, and other financial institutions on the structuring, establishment, and operation of private investment funds. You will also work with alternative investment funds across various asset classes, such as private equity, infrastructure, credit, and real estate, as well as managed accounts, co-investment funds, and fund financing arrangements.

The Ideal Candidate

Whilst our clients preference is an individual who has funds experience, they will also be open to those who have experience working in a transactional area (Funds, Corporate, Finance etc). This experience will have been gained at another leading US, Magic/Silver Circle, or top UK firms.
