Associates / Senior Associates – Corporate Law
About the Role
Join a Chambers Band 1 Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets team and work on some of the most complex and high-profile transactions in the market. This role offers exposure to a variety of partners and a broad scope of work, allowing you to develop a strong foundation while honing your expertise in your preferred niche.
As an Associate or Senior Associate in this team, you will:
- advise on public and private M&A, private equity, equity capital markets, and corporate governance matters
- deliver high-profile M&A outcomes for leading Australian and global companies
- gain exposure to transactions across diverse sectors, including energy, infrastructure, financial services, health, mining, media, technology, and retail
This is a permanent, full-time role with flexible working arrangements, including a hybrid work model.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for candidates with:
- experience in a leading M&A and capital markets practice, ideally from a top-tier, national, or international firm (or a mix of private practice and in-house experience)
- the ability to manage smaller matters independently and contribute to larger transactions
- excellent academics and a strong technical foundation
- an eagerness to learn, grow, and mentor others
