About our client:

A multinational organization focused on the distribution of healthcare products, including medical supplies and medications. They aim to improve patient outcomes and support professionals in the healthcare sector with advanced solutions and services.

About the role:

  • Support the organization in maintaining compliance with privacy laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Interpret privacy legislation, provide clear and concise responses to inquiries, and manage the organization’s privacy policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with procedures.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor the annual privacy program.
  • Handle data breaches and privacy requests, collaborating with case handlers to provide guidance and resolution.
  • Manage the organization’s data processing register, carry out Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), draft privacy statements, and ensure proper follow-up on identified issues.
  • Review various agreements, including data processing contracts, to ensure privacy compliance.
  • Act as a primary contact for privacy-related inquiries and complaints, leading internal privacy awareness campaigns and activities.
  • Cultivate and enhance a network of Privacy Process Owners and Privacy Champions within the organization, working closely with the Data Protection Officer (DPO).

About you:

  • Fluency in both spoken and written Dutch is essential for this role.
  • A higher education background (HBO/WO level) is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in legal privacy matters.
  • CIPP/E and CIPP/M certifications or is open to obtaining them is a plus.
