Job Title: Senior Associate, Corporate Real Estate

Contract Type: Initially 3-6 months

Location: London (City)

Our Client: A leading international City law firm with a prominent real estate practice across the UK and Europe, recognised for its work on high-value, complex transactions for global clients.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join the firms’ corporate real estate team on an initial 3-6 month basis. This role offers an opportunity to work on significant real estate transactions, supporting a highly regarded team known for delivering market-leading legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute corporate transactional work focused on real estate, including joint ventures, acquisitions, disposals, and restructurings.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and offering innovative solutions.
  • Oversee discrete legal work while ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to junior team members, assisting in their development.
  • Actively contribute to the team’s knowledge base, participate in firm initiatives, and uphold firm values.

Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified lawyer with ideally 5+ years’ PQE in corporate transactional work within real estate.
  • Proficiency in drafting, negotiation, and project management, with a solid understanding of profitability and financial management.
  • Strong technical and commercial awareness, combined with excellent communication skills.
