About the role:
Reporting into the CLO. The role will involve providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to the business with a high degree of autonomy, in a supportive environment. You will lead project based and day to day legal work for the group. Principally, advising on corporate transactions, heads of terms, project management, corporate governance and expansion into new jurisdictions. As well as reviewing advising on and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, software licencing agreements, and services agreements. This role will ideally suit a corporate lawyer with exposure to energy, shipping/maritime sectors. As well as ensuring compliance with the company’s governance and policies.
About you:
The successful candidate will have at least 5 PQE, preferably gained in a leading international law firm or in-house. Multi-jurisdictional experience including working with global external counsel will be highly advantageous. This role would suit someone who is commercially astute and who thrives in a fast paced, complex and rapidly changing environment. If you can work autonomously and work collaboratively with team members and key stakeholders, this would be a great opportunity for you.
