IP Solicitor
Our client, a highly regarded boutique City law firm is seeking a talented IP Solicitor on a fixed-term contract basis initially for 3-months. The role is starting ASAP.

The role includes:
- Assisting with trade mark, design, and copyright cases, including:
- Pre-action advisory work.
- Managing proceedings before IPEC, the High Court, and UKIPO.
- Handling alternative dispute resolution and anti-counterfeiting actions.
- Overseeing domain name disputes and liaising with overseas counsel.
- Drafting and negotiating agreements such as licences, assignments, and NDAs.
- Providing IP-related commercial law advice, including due diligence.
- Supporting non-IP contentious matters, e.g., consumer law issues.
- Participating in business development initiatives.
Key skills and experience required:
- 2+ years’ post-qualification IP experience.
- Expertise in contentious soft IP litigation before IPEC, and/or High Court.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- A postgraduate diploma in IP Law and Practice (desirable).
- Additional language skills (advantageous).
