Senior Associate/Senior Lawyer – Real Estate
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a leading Australian law firm’s Melbourne Property team. You’ll work alongside a highly regarded Partner and collaborate across a diverse range of matters, advising public and private sector clients, including government departments, local councils, corporates, and developers.
Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating property agreements, providing advice on commercial property transactions, and representing clients in procurement processes. You will also advise landowners on development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate property agreements (contracts, leases, development agreements, etc.)
- Advise clients on commercial property transactions
- Represent public sector clients in procurement processes
- Provide advice on development projects
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with:
- 6+ years’ experience in commercial property law
- Strong communication and drafting skills
- Proven experience in property agreements (contracts of sale, leases, etc.)
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and high-volume matters
- Experience working with public sector clients is preferred but not essential
