An international law firm in London is looking to hire an 8+ PQE Employment Lawyer to join the Office of General Counsel team to oversee and manage a range of complex and sensitive employment or partnership related issues or disputes.

You will work closely with the General Counsel, Board, Senior Partners and Executive Management and the role will cover its international offices (excluding the US).

This position would suit a fee earner looking to move in-house or a lawyer working in the OGC of an international law firm.

Duties:

  • Lead on employment or partnership matters including grievances, investigations, terminations, whistleblowing, restrictive covenants, disputes, litigation, arbitration, mediation and regulatory compliance
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks and exposure. Implement best practices and policies for employment or partnership matters
  • Provide strategic input to the delivery of team’s the key functions
  • Assist with drafting reports for the Board
  • Work closely and build relationships with partners, fee earners and other members of the OGC.

  • An excellent legal, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, concise, and pragmatic advice relating to employment law and advising on partnership issues
  • A proven track record of advising and representing large organisations on employment or partnership matters, in both contentious and non-contentious settings
